Hello and welcome! In today’s article, I’ll show you how to add polls to your Dolphin 7.1.4 website. This will allow you and your users to get input on any topic you choose. Before we begin, we need to install the polls module. A step by step guide on installing the Dolphin 7.1.4 base modules can be found here.
Once we have the module installed, we can adjust the settings from the “settings” tab.
We can access it by clicking “Polls” on the main menu bar of the site. Polls in Dolphin 7.1.4 are added from the user side of the website and not from the admin. To add a poll simply click “Add Poll” in the action bar at the top of the screen and add the “Question”, some answers, and a category then click “Create”.
Once your poll has been added, you will see it listed on the polls homepage. Done! You can now add as many polls to your site as you like. You can also allow your members to create their own polls by changing the poll settings in admin. This area will also allow you to approve or deny any poll you wish.
