Configuring Site Meta Keywords in Joomla 2.5

Meta keywords are a list of keywords used to indicate what your web page is about. These are important so that web crawlers can properly index your Joomla site. In this article I will give you a step guide on how to configure site meta keywords in Joomla 2.5

1. Login as an administrator to Joomla.

2. Go to menu “Site -> Global Configuration”:

3. In the Global Configuration page, look for the Metadata settings. There, fill out the Site Meta Description, Meta Keywords and Content Rights:

Note: Select to hide your Joomla version.

4. Now, save your changes: Picture 4
And that’s it! Site Meta Keywords are in place.
