Changing the Profile Fields in Dolphin 7.1

Hello and welcome! In today’s blog I’ll show you how to edit the profile fields in your Dolphin 7.1 website.

To access the profile field’s builder, simply log into your Dolphin admin and select “Profile Fields” under the “Builders” sub-menu on the left.

Now you will notice you can drag and drop any field from the “Active Items” to the “Inactive Blocks” section and vice versa. If you click on any of the items in the “Active Items” section, you can also edit the name, if it’s mandatory, the error message, if it isn’t filled out, and many other options.

At the top of the screen you can select which page you wish to view and edit.

It should be noted that some fields are used extensively by dolphin and should not be removed or altered. “Date of Birth” is a good example of a field that should not be changed.

That’s it, you can now control fields on any of the forms on your site. Until next time, happy social networking!
