How to Allow Members to Add Custom RSS Feeds in Dolphin 7

In today’s article, I will show you how to use the “Custom RSS” module with your Dolphin 7 based site. Before we begin we need to install the module. A step by step guide on installing the Dolphin 7 base modules can be found here.
Once we have the module installed any member can add or delete an RSS feed to their profile by clicking “Edit” under the “Custom RSS” block on their profile page. To add a custom feed you simply add the feed URL, the number of items to display and the title of the feed.
Now the feed will show up in admin and can be moderated by the site admin.
Once the feed has been approved it will show up on the members profile page.
This allows your members to share news, sports scores or any other information that has a public RSS feed.
Until next time, happy social networking!
